What the site records and what becomes public.
Basic usage counts
We count page views, visits to individual story pages and the first audio play on a story page. We group these counts by date, page and broad source, such as YouTube, TikTok, search or direct traffic. We do not use visitor tracking cookies or visitor IDs for these counts. The site analytics do not store your IP address or a full referral URL.
Story suggestions
If you submit a story idea, its topic, suggestion and optional nickname appear publicly immediately. We do not ask for an email address. Please do not include private information. Suggestions may be removed if they contain spam or personal information.
Future product interest
We collect anonymous choices about audio subscriptions, traditionally bound books and preferred themes. The public counter shows interest votes, which may include repeats. We do not use a cookie or visitor ID to identify individual voters, and we do not ask for an email or payment. The server temporarily uses the connection address to limit repeated submissions; it is not saved with vote totals.
Hosting
The server’s Nginx access log records the connection address, requested path, browser information and referrer for operations and abuse response. Logs rotate daily with 14 archived rotations. These server logs are separate from the aggregate site counts described above.
